No Farewells

There were no notes-

No farewells.

Just an empty closet,

Where her clothes used to hang.

 

A house that was a home,.

No longer has her touch.

Can't think of a reson

For such an abrupt departure.

 

Sure we had our swabbles.

In a marriage, who hasn't.

They never lingered long,

A nice kiss and a hug and I'm sorry.

It takes a lot of work to make a relationship work. All to often, people find it easier to call it quits.
