O Swami
You are the ocean
of mercy and compassion
we dip our body, mind and
spirit in Your translucent,
healing waters
O Swami
Can we ever be far away or
distant from You?
Can the stars desert their
heavenly abode?
Can the Nightingale refrain
from its dulcet serenade?
Can dew drops descending
refuse their tender morning kiss?
O Swami
there is hope and succor in
Your glorious presence
A lamp in the gloom of Kali
when You are near
we can hear the celestial bells
and witness the dawning of Sat Yuga
