Why is it like that?
That in old age you slow up?
That it takes forever to walk anywhere.
You remember those long walks from the past.
Why is it like that?
Hard to find someone to do things with you.
You remember those times of the past,
When someone was there for you and with you.
Why is it like that?
You've got to wait for excitement to come.
You always rush around for nothing.
You seem to long for an outing.
It is just like that for me.
Why is it like that?
I suppose I do know the answers.
God wants me to be good,
God wants to give me what I need in his own time.
Patience is a virtue, waiting is a thing I can do.
Hi Lois. I think it's like that because we are alone and have lost our soul mate. Many have similar feelings. I always feel better after I write my feelings down. Some how I manage to keep quite busy with various projects. Time goes by quickly...M
