Social commentary on what's happening in America

If a child is to become
smart in this nation,
he must be allowed to create
his own creation.
He must think for himself
what is valuable to do,
not mouth what the establishment
wants him to think is true .
Lies confuse everyone.
Voting brings no hope.
Propaganda confuses the issues,
makes voting a joke.
We may never gain our peace
and freedom back,
but we can teach our children
skills that they lack.
Why is character not taught in the schools?
Why does evil and lack of cooperation rule?
Why is it difficult for Americans to succeed?
Because those in power control us with their greed.
Character cannot be taught. Young people have to be given responsibility for their behavior and character will come. I didn't know that evil was in control or lack of cooperation either. Worldwide, evil is declining with each generation. It's not difficult for Americans to succeed. It is only difficult for children who are kept in the nest too long to learn how to fend for themselves.
If we have any character at all, it is to stand up to those with money and greed and bring them down to eye level with us.
