A celebration that needs no explanation.

Flowers? How about forty rose bushes?

Seems like Valentines and Mothers day always sneeks up on me,
Then here comes Happy Birthday and Anniversary,

Well I ain’t much for celebratin, My wife sure knows that’s true ,
A few years back , I almost missed a Christmas day or two,

So I figured that what I would say , I should put in writing,
Cause flowers fade and candies made don’t last much past the bite-ing,

Words are everlasting, that’s the way that it appears,
Cause what we said in 61 lasted fifty six happy years,

So Happy Anniversary Sweetheart , this time I didn’t forget,
So stretch your imagination, there’s some hope for me yet.
