We are jsut a step away.

In the morning light
I stopped to see the sky
I turned at her soft cry
She lay there upon a leaf
The tears were surreal

Age my imagination did steal
I just could not believe
that flowers really bleed
To give new life to the seed
Is it pain my body will feel

Rainbow thorns at the crest line
Stars merge to clear a troubled mind
Fingers touch a wilted leaf
Water brings a long waited relief
Quickly the water I will steal

A perilous place in the sun
A wonder where rivers of salt run
Pick the tree watch it grow
A notch above fallen snow
Silence lets the world sleep

Children watch at sunset
Age is all I have left
Caterpillar turns to fly
Maggot trapped can only cry
Creativity is not dead
