Once upon a scheme
Two left for real
One stayed home
Protected mom and dad
Fear filled the youngest dream
Off he went to see the older
Shades fell into the river
Made a running ripple
Older sits upon a mountain
Secrets of the aged trying to steal
Age knew the game and kept fables
Clever came the words on a tablet
One with parents talks of heaven
Measures love in hope and passion
Listens to the wind in the trees moan
Worries daily about those that are gone
Vision comes in middle of the night
Each child given a special puzzle piece
Solution all three must join to resolve
Answers reside for all mom and dad, had
In the final dream
Nothing was left to steal
No one was left to moan
Love and hope for all were had
Very well written Walter!!
Love this alot!!
Love Tinka
and are painful to think about.
I am glad I clicked on this poem, though.
