Life to death in love

In the depths of a world of love
Many will still reach for the stars
Playing in amongst the flowers of youth
Seeking the death defying dreams of faith

Fingers sing a song

Who is the winter of day
With morning being my lover
others saying I am the same
tiny pieces of me spread around

Harp echoes in time

I think it is a thread of joy
That plays inside of her eyes
A purple day in the dark of night
Hold on to the daydream of love

Flute dreams in my mind

See it in the mirror doing the smile
Who would believe I am my own reflection
Inside the shell of forever I will be wondering
Till the heavens look to the clouds and cry

Drums dance to the beat

Let a bit of yesterday fly into forever
I will hold her as we walk by the chinaberry trees
the tears of heaven greet us as we travel
The well worn path of consumption

Deerskin warms my heart

Surely as the time laid before the altar
We skip a bit in memory of yesterday
When were the wild and wilily voice
Lost in the reality of the things that would be

Pipe plays me home

She smiles and I giggle strange from an old man
The woman can barely boil water, strange desert
Walk and look for a place to lie down and die
Lit the pyrite of sticks
