Surface chases of dreamers and lovers, one never is old, maybe a bit out of step
From the door to the window to the old oak tree there is a path worn establishing the younger side of me Take from the bedroom to the raging sea got my dollar and I bond to be an alley cat set free Mary loves the taste of wine and for a dollar she will be mine we both share the same dream Take me from the bedroom to the raging sea got my dollar and I bond to be an alley cat set free Fields of clover in the late night hue love we are making just me and you and my dollar burns a hole in time Take me from the bedroom to the raging sea got my dollar and I bond to be an alley cat set free Mary is now safe back home in bed Her daddy plans to make me dead the boys and I sing her one more tune Take me from the bedroom to the raging sea got my dollar and I bond to be an alley cat set free Oh the ship floats upon the grumbling sea me I am in the bedroom remembering used to be when I was a sailor home on leave Take me from the bedroom to the raging sea got my dollar and I bond to be an alley cat set free

It's funny (not haha funny) how the things we once done, seems to mellow in our minds as we age. Your memoirs of youth seemed to float lightly on this page for a very enjoyable read.
