When we hurt we try to go back to safe and warm, once in a while it happens
A chair hold s her and me
light as a feather her tears stain
Eighteen plus one tiny little month
soft lullaby rocks within the moving chair
Old sad man comforts a lost soul searching
Angels in the time before dawn comfort
from the valley of death two roses to go home
little escaped the two lives filled the void of loss
hush a bye don’t cry I will hold you safe and warm
The sight burned hard in the woman’s mind
so awkward they looked, so much pain, left in the chair
she slipped back into her own safe haven of sorrow she prayed
stars burned and blazed across a purple sky each made the path no sound
Old man rocks alone but she knows it safe to go home anytime
always a hug, special look between eyes heart to heart lullaby silence
window to heaven is a doorway that is lined with a path covered in roses
baby breath fills the wind and boldly stands out from the bouquet of flowers blessed
