Walk with me to a good feeling

I remember Christmas season with tears of love

Mother tucked me in with a story of the littlest angel

I cried

The privileged of age is watching of time pass

For in time we see good and joy shared by everyone

Even the lowest of Gods creature share in his coming

Each evening with prayer I read a story of the coming

I prayed

Air is filled with promise and joy

She is but a child in the mist of play

Walk the sidewalk of dreams in windows

Dancing dolls, trains in elaborate display

Fantasy screams back with Santa & reindeer

Souls see and the observation of man lives in the season

My children take turns with the Bible verse

Pride lives

Mother of mercy finds room in her heart to allow

A peace of sorts for every man who seeks solitude

Interceding on their behalf

Corners fill with hawkers of goods pencil and such

Red kettles dangle in the wind ringing bells tell

Colored lights sparkle in the hallow of night

Cribs dress the churches with shelter mother child

Promise to man kept in the birth of a child to child

Love confirmed in not words but action held in arms

Treasures gather in voices before bed as gifts given

They pray

Lanterns of tangled images lead a pathway to a home

Willful angels keep the doors open a little longer

In this season of faith and prayers on many lips

Strong and stanch a willing spirit graces thoughts

Carols start and end in blessing voices so grand

Hear the wonder of all who pass song on lips

Sure the love spreads a soft and gentle sound

Eyes see more than morning star or candles glowing

Angel gets his wings and I hear a silver bell ringing

I recall littlest angel and tell each the story from my heart

I cry

Inn stays a bit longer on the mind and churches sing

In the reading of the words minds wander to place

Each heart can find peace and rest among the candle flame

Hearts melt in warmth for the fellow man exception

The rule dies at the hand of exception and gives faith

Food fills empty bellies and gifts shared in the have nots

Fingers work the hope and joy of the day a child prays

Peace on earth is not to be but in the eyes of the child love

Stars light my way through the clouds I an ready now

Children take turns comforting me and we pray together

One last time
