Death is the victim of life

A ghost is dancing on my stone

He is looking for a place to call home

Whiskey on his breath time in his mind

of all the heroes on this block

why did he pick mine

If you see me a coming better run and hide cause I don’t

plan to die alone

Thirst of the father lives quite well

some say it is hotter than hell

Catch me in the bedroom

see her on the floor

she was my passion

I will be back for more

If you see me a coming better run and hide cause I don’t

plan to die alone

Ghost is a memory

that will not let me be

a free and cavalier soul

sailing on the sea

sleeps in the pit

called tranquility

Wander of soldiers

left for the mind

some say duty

most say crime

If you see me a coming better run and hide cause I don’t

plan to die alone

Wrapped her arms about me

told me my soul she would save

hold to the promise

till my judgment day

Corner lot

on a cemetery hill

hear her calling

me still

If you see me a coming better run and hide cause I don’t

plan to die alone

Oak tree in the meadow

crow upon the dawn

sing my death wish

come along to the valley

lay the sod back cold

death is the victim

sad to be this old

If you see me a coming better run and hide cause I don’t

plan to die alone

A ghost is dancing in the world above

he is looking for my eternal love

whiskey on his breath time in his mind

she saved his soul now she comforts mine
