Dreamers are sleeping in loves empty bed

Steel guitar plays my song and life with a cold beer

Washing down the whiskey left on the stool

Jukebox singing a country tune tear jerker

Moon of the soul gives me a place to cry

As the wind finds it way over my shoulder

Temper is the whine of tires leaving

The horse cries right with me drunk

Saw dust breaks a slide in the step as lead guy

Breaks the sweat with a young one shots going

Done so fast eyes streaming in ugly view trying

Offers his fast talk given back

She is hard as nails and stops words

Body like the sailors dream coming home

Tried and true she removes all the lonesome

Hand upon living a voice causes me to see truth

Driving nails driving nails in my coffin with you

Slide in a real feel of bedroom eyes keeping

Dance the floor lost in the arms so soft

Steel guitar plays my song and life with a cold beer

Washing down the whiskey left on the stool

Jukebox singing a country tune tear jerker

You with the search for your mate

I am a fill in got here too late

Sorrow knows no place

Passion replaces love

Trouble is my first and middle name

Bar room sleeps in tears left on her heart

Spilled drinks hold every once of me dying

In my bed we taste all that will be found

Real the good of the life we left on the floor

Clothes still stacked like the bottles of living

We share the love but keep our own cold cold soul

Steel guitar plays my song and life with a cold beer

Washing down the whiskey left on the stool

Jukebox singing a country tune tear jerker
