In bar somewhere telling it like it was

Elli there is darkness blacken by the hearts of those whom see only last years wanna bes

Laid cold upon the stage of tears dripping in the beer left by the fallen stars crying

Tremble in the fear of life escaping to a new place for validation given by old and tired souls

On the verge of ghost tributes seen upon a stage of life lingering one last time sheltering

My images placed by a mind in distraction of expectations living freely in the undone seen

I have heard the music playing in my head working the voices of the lonely alive and dead

Got no resurrection inside, just playing that voice out cold from my troubled mind

Turn the music to the pale side of the sun let me be a player in the band of outlaws on the run

Take the words from the strumming guitars and let me be the voice calling from the Mason jar

Hear me in the victory of crying in the rain as I take the best they got and lick them once again

Heart upon the sleeve of a lot of used to bes, I make that guitar scream its voice just for me

Burnt to a sinter we let the voice of life thunder across the planes of what I 'de like to be.

Withered flowers dress the box in which I walk tall once now dried and dead color turned to past

Derilick in cardboard boxes calling me to see harmony screaming for the end of dreams dealt as

Passion escapes from the stage and the voices than were made in the shade of alley crying for the

Dead sound left in the minds of the profits lost in the box before the plate played just to laugh at ambition destroyed

Luck kisses the wind and the entire world goes silent as the last of the blood drips down in sounds of silence
