Life reflections after a bit of Brandy

Me and my muse were sitting, getting high on life, a picture of two drunks, sharing the vintage of night, asked her to pass me a star, she passed me a fork and a knife, laughed at her insult, now she is my wife.

We who live in glass houses
own more stones than most

We who live castles
build as deep monster moats

Me I leave in her city
laugh at all her jokes

Me I cry for the kitty
as her life it chokes

Quest is the pure thought
left on the hill

Mantle is cold form
the lost of will

Cast me a rock
as the walls came tumbling down

Sin was the answer
but you were all that I found

Now don't take no romances
or chances in love you find

For when the city is empty
I settle for a bottle of wine

Alley is dark as my soul
woman is the same

Bottle is Thunderbird
I forgot her name

It is a cold lonely highway, take what you can, a woman is the form, but spirits understand, passion lives inside the man, warm your thoughts, but remember, allies are dark, and the night wind it howls, the taste is good, but it goes away after a while.

Your words, verses flow one into the other so beautifully here. This even with the bittersweetness I am left feeling is a wonderful piece of artistic penning and expression, a truly enjoyable piece!
