Space and time measure up

Wendy called in dark of night

Help she screamed

Found her dumped in her car

All used up

Lift far star of hate

Taste bitter late

Cry soul fate

A tear found

Thud a sick sound

Bound hand foot

Look beyond

like a sad hook

The song plays on

Carried her two flights

Put her to bed for night

Naked body a sight

Place for every needle lay

Price of soul paid

Listen to her demons scream

Seven weeks bound

Eight coming down

Morals not one

Pain of night worse in sun

Wiped her sweat

Cleaned her bed

Cursed me out

Wished me dead

Little else said

Fed her like a babe

With her through shakes stayed

Cleared way

Sang her to sleep

Held her as she wept

Helped her soul to heal

Let her heart feel

Took back from hell

Lifted her when she fell

Demons I did fight

Many cold night

Blood clean

Mind like a machine

Clever beyond time

When she left she was whole

Owned her body and her soul

Looked at me like I was old

I owe you more than one

She kissed me goodbye

For her soul I prayed

For my heart I cried

Large piece of me died

Pedestal fall and crumble like

dry clay

This is supberb in its form and its dynamics. Beside all that mumbo-jumbo, it struck deep within my soul. You did good, Walter. Bless you.

Thank God for those who care enough to carry one through their darkest times. But it stinks if someone cannot be grateful enough to show their thanks. You are an angel at heart for sure!!
Very touching read my friend!!
Take care!!

Oh wow! So sad a lament after sticking with someone as they fly free again. You're a saint.
