Love

The light of the New Year came for me
In a palace so old but new
Hearts scream for loving
My heart just screams for you

As the bright lights call me
Flame and moth just the same
We dance in the window
Blowing out the pain

Some are made for loving
Loving is made to be
Angels wait in heaven
You still wait for me

Somewhere out in the night wind
I caught the smell of your perfume
In the voice I hear your calling me
In truth it is only an empty room
Arms that held me now cold to the touch
So sweet the need of remember darling
I love you this much

In embers of passion I hunger for your kiss
In the trials of living I give to be in this
Love a want and linger upon a bed of stone
Cold visions taking me home
Amber wants silver to match the fates
Last with me a moment fate escapes

Walls made of dreams placed in a locket with care
Lasting remembrance sing in cool night air
Last of a living taste of pure and belief
Hand in hand we waltz across life's lone street
Burden of angels devil wails into lie
Trust in the eyes of another too sad to cry

Over the river down to the shore
Holding warm wishes love in proud restore
None of the pleasure only the hope
All of forever inside the room closed
Fingers dance on me like a soft whispered sigh
Angels want but we just pass them by

Stone marks the rainbows as the sun lets its way
Beams of dreamers lead into the day
Drift in the mindset of place to feel
Come into parlor add my heart to steal
Cast forth the shadows to dance in my soul
Come and take me to heaven where we will never grow old

Stabbing Pencey Boudreaux by Mary Lynn Plaisance

A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
