mate

T'was aburning at the stake
She was the willing
He the partake
Seeking better than Love
They fit together like
A well worn glove
Hell and damination
with just a
drop
of
love

The lady stepped before him like a wasp looking for a mate

It had been a month of Sundays since last she ate

Covered in love as perfect as the eyes see

She was reaching for his soul

When she saw me

In the corner of the bar

Sitting in booth

Sipping a beer

Washing with

Youth

Her eyes said would you like to try

In the end the only cost is

You must die

In a moment

She slid on in

Sharp prick of a needle

That’s how it always begins

Left him

For dinner after math

Fire in the belly

Trouble on a fly

Manly pushes

In her ever loving lies

Fingers long and lean

Take the mind away

As the power of her

Venom slowly washes

The pain away

Craft of nature pulses

Then screams

As fury of impact

Deems

Another lower place

And her face turned

Angel to demon erases

Double up on a burned spoon

Nere a share in the tinny bedroom

As nigh and high fade

Seek another wasp

As at his wine been laid

The entire world is but a place

Of temptation bared

Gold the last color

Wine his

Last fare

Nothing

Sleeps

No

One

Weeps

Body for the sweeper

Left out in the street

The lady stepped before him like a wasp looking for a mate

It had been a month of Sundays since last she ate

Covered in love as perfect as the eyes see

She was reaching for his soul

When she saw me

In the corner of the bar

Sitting in booth

Sipping a beer

Washing with

Youth

Mattress cold and hard

Wasp poor lady

She starved

In her own web

She slept

Stomped on

By a killer

She never met

Will and temptation live the same

Mostly evil wins

But

Sometime truth

Owns the game
