So my child we walk past the dream in a garden left cold from those who walked before us. Eyes reaching for hope in a sky filled with love and lies played carefully, take a look
From a spot kept warm by silly pride, father a step a head mother already gone; you look over your shoulder to see children laughing at your worries and pace.
I took one last look
Did not like what I have become
Sun overhead
Watching dead
Dreams rolling past
Fingers to keys
The writers in me
A gift used little
A curious sound
Creativity controlled
Sold for a dollar once
Now a price for face
I write what I want
Found comes in words
And life and love dance
As the keys for me
Fill the void of
Work gone to some
one else writing
For dollars spare
I walk in shadows as I write for love and friends
Some die, some just need a laugh, me I need purpose
In night winds I find all in over cast skies with heavy hang over
Lead laden dreams smiling with me in stories shared love taken
Love Tinka
