Just passing thru

In the window of shadows dancing on a wall
I stand before the window looking nine feet tall
In a presence I recall when lonely was just now
So if you are sad and your heart is feeling low
I know some things to help
Just where to go

For any place is better
Than talking with a memory

In the sand cover zone
In a tavern with voices
You still are alone
But the night wind
She calls
And you are not so lonely
After all

It is just a re-acurring dream

Lady she is a lookers scream
She comes to hold me
And tell me of her many schemes

I walk in silence as the voices fill my mind
And I am not lonely
For a short time

There is a corner in my cell
Where the wall suits me well
In this place with just
A voice within
We love
A life of sin

I find you on the last hurrah and we are

So if you are looking for a place to rest your head
If you need someone
To hear the voices in your head
If you want a lover
Or maybe just a friend
My heart is standing free
And you could come with me

Once there was a dreamer
But he is dead

Dreams never die, they just get cobwebs. Buy a broom, open a window, let the breeze whisper a new way. This felt full of solitude and some giving up. Very sad. But held a tiny speck of maybe. Nicely done.
