Visit the past

My chair rocks in soft beat
As my foot taps to memories of time
Words melt out of sweet as a Georgia peach
Ripple runs down a parched throat
Perfection turned
To an old prune
Age won again
Once eye candy sweet
Long gone on its way

And my horse is riding away

So pick your seat on the apple cart

Before the end of day

And will sleep in the driver seat

All the way all the way

Lady in blue walks the river edge

She is the winner of the farm

And the night stage

Lights shine on the old farm

Willie takes to does and don’t on his arm doe on

So long I walk in view of seasons lost to gray

Martyr from the cross passes on his way
Cry my mind in time with a page of smoke
I going on to find the crystal
Alone

Feel of dark pulls a message
From blue pools of lust
As I lose my heart

She still trusts

A boy
Stoned

Rented in place so long ago
Vowed in pristine hue
Blood runs cold as she counts the gold

Damn I should have knew

As he
Cried

Box of lid shutters

In blue-eyed pools
where was hello
No purpose to
Stop once
Happiness
grew

Old faces lay in mental pictures
as time passes holding
Dirt on a friendly way
Trust in old love songs

As the preacher passes

The plate

Offer rejected in ground turning

My chair rocks in soft beat
As my foot taps to memories of time
Words melt out of sweet as a Georgia peach
Ripple runs down a parched throat
Perfection turned
To an old prune
Age won again
Once eye candy sweet
Long gone on its way

Pretty little girls

Still stay to play

Love is a ride inside

The pride of perfection

Apple of my eye

Apple of my eye

Cart is rolling on a road cruel

When I look it turned over

But it never took a candle

To you

Feel of dark pulls a message
from blue pools of lust
as I lose my heart

She still trusts

A boy
Stoned
