Rust and pegboard filled the winding seams
Dreams left on an old porch swing

I plead let me be
I rather be a harsh voice with pain
Than a whisper in an endless rain

Laughter as cynical as time
Ripples through these old ears of mine

My voice plays a thousand fold
Begging to let the pain go

Pick my self up from the gravestone
With a new brisk step
I make my self home

It was in summer or in wintertime
I was on the verge of loosing my mind
A warm smile from a light above
It was pure love

Candle and prayer
