It is the wild of days
as the music forever plays
a tune in a mind set
runs a way to the soul
rest in a nest created once upon
song, I think it was mine once.


Tears of longing phantom dreams to sever
Lost in heart songs sung in rhyme
We used to be but now is never
This cup of pleading drowns this life of mine

Tears that used to be in anger
Truth watches fruit fall from her vine
Cross this bridge that goes to no where
This Hell can't be too far behind

What right have I to go on at all
Lost years seeking shallow lovers
My anger keeps me bottle blind
Drunk and pickled this troubled mind

When we used to be
You wrote for me
Soft words repeat sweet
In poet's bitter beat

But now I'm gone
And now you belong
In this day's space
Our Lost hearts erased
