So you write, real words, I wonder
For I was once a dreamer Now just a dream A drop of perfect reflection Never what it seems Cover of the sad face Wicker of weave Silence left Bleeding heart on a sleeve Watch and wonder Strut and play Evergreen Falls in a forest of gray Oh heart of hearts left praying Silver on steps left lay Question perfection Sun rises in the east Just another day But into eh hall of living Footsteps fly Daddy oh daddy I am so sad Why must You die The river rolls to the valley The answers set in the sky We call our self-poets On pages words cry For I was once a dreamer Now just a dream A drop of perfect reflection Never what it seems Cover of the sad face Wicker of weave Silence left Bleeding heart on a sleeve Watch and wonder Strut and play Evergreen Falls in a forest of gray
