Funny LIttle Man

What you see is often not what you expect.

When life is tattered
doors open wide
see the funny man
still sitting in inside

Soldier makes the call
strong of conviction
his gun speaks
for us all

Funny man lies on the ground
kicked by all in the little town
his cat and dog
they drown in his well

When death is over
see sign upon the door
just a simple message
funny doesn't live no more

Soldier found hanging from a tree
note pinned to his shirt for
all the townfolk to see
it takes more than a gun
to kill me

Funny little man
