Winter rain falls against my skin
Slowly I cross the water path to home
Daylight fills the tired eyes of travel
Dreams have held me bond to long
Kids are jumping on my belly
It is a day for fun and play
We read and chase the dog
Make cookies and cup cakes
Lunch under the umbrella
Laughing and giggling tag
Hide and seek in the rain
Red rover red rover can..
Supper on the road home
Leave hugs and squeezes
The door closes on my life
I start the lonely drive home
