~~Finding your way through life...in life...is never easy...Usually, you just trust your instict.~~
Walking and searching down long empty halls, expectations dissolve into heart-ache. Anxious voices say from beyond thick walls, "Turn and go back before it's too late."
Fists clenched, I demand explanations: The silence is my deserved reply. Still, with each newfound interpretation, "Turn and go back; it's all just a lie."
Those gone before me could not have been wrong. Answers will come ifI don't hesitate; soon a door will swing wide, yet voices still groan, "Turn and go back to the narrow and straight."
Up ahead there's a door, stately and broad; I rush to it; open it; another hall.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
Very well expressed.
