she's thinking of him
and his cheshire grin
starting out thin
but broadening at one side
those colgate pearls don't wanna hide
anymore
she's opened the door
to what's soft and warm inside
he momentarily puts aside his pride
a subconscious decision
he makes without precision
because he revels in the vision
of the smile
that curls in the corner
of her lips
as he holds her
