Verve

Spring's flirtatious hormones

seem to be at peak...

as we speak,
in subtle pensive reverie;

and try to peek
past pheromonal
disturbances...

in our personal spaces;

faces...
looming larger than life,

scents -- taunting our nostrils...

wanting

that tension and pressure

to dissipate;

yet reveling in its...

intensity.
