After all, aren’t reality and truth simply a matter of perception?
One man's illusion is another man's reaility.
One woman's fiction is another woman's truth.
Picasso, Dali, Cummings, Pink Floyd & Poe -- What if they all had collaborated on a work? Would then a picture or song paint greater than a thousand splendid words? Would then a song or a poem paint an incredibly complex, abstract and insightful array of mental thoughtscapes?

Fictions are invented by people. Realities invent people. There's a big difference here.
There are certainly enough people in this world who would invent fictions to cause others pains. You'll have to be one of the recepients to know this pain - it's very painful and is silently endured. That's all I can say.
