Little Willie Wilkerson
Little Wille Wilkerson stood only
four feet tall,
kids would always tease him cause
he was so very small.
Then one day Thomas Tittle the
tallest kid in the school,
sat with Willie in the lunch room
and made him feel real cool.
Suddenly little Willie didn't
feel so itty bitty,
till some rotten kid started picking
on him by the name of Earnie Smitty.
Earnie was a bully with red hair
and freckles too,
the kind of kid you love to hate
the meanest in the school.
He made kids pay him money
and give them all their snacks,
then carried around the goodies
in an orange paper sack.
But today was going to be different
cause Willie had a plan,
to make Earnie Smitty pay cause
it's more than size that makes a man.
Then Earnie called him names
but Willie didn't cry,
he flung his mashed potatoes
and hit him in the eye.
Earnie would have smacked him
but blinded by the spuds,
he couldn't see a thing
and what a sight that was.
The kids all started clapping
while Earnie ran away,
and little Willie Wilkerson
didn't feel so small that day.
