If I Had A Million Dollars
If I had a million dollars I
tell you what I'd do,
I'd buy me a house in the country
and maybe a goat or two.
I'd build a big fence around it
made of twenty four gold plate,
taller than the highest tree
with a locking iron gate.
I'd plant me a great big garden
with only vegetables I like,
and I'd never pick a one
until they are were ripe.
Of course I'd grow watermelon
as juicy as can be,
and nobody could have none,
that is nobody but me.
I'd eat it all right up till
I got a tummy ache,
top it off with ice cream and
a slice of chocolate cake.
I'd eat the finest of foods
that all my money could buy,
like liver wurst and onions
and caviar pot pie.
I know that it sounds strange
that this is what I'd do,
and maybe I should think again
and make a list or two.
But for now I'm just a kid
and believe me it's ok,
I never really thought I'd have
a million anyway.
