Feeling a little home sick tonight remembering
Lessons Of Love At the age of fifty one soon to be fifty two, I often sit and wonder about all that I've lived through. Looking back over those years I treasure special times, and when life gets me down they dance inside my mind. Summers in New England when the days were long and full, the Old Man in the mountain, Pawtucketway park when the skies were blue. The smiles on loved ones faces the pictures in my mind, have helped me through life's challenges and most difficult of times. For those of you who've passed and wait for my return, am still here making memories lessons of love I've been sent her to learn. I see nothing wrong with reminiscing. I often wonder why you have so many negative comments with my poetry. I am extremely active and successful in my life. Like most I face hard times as well and what a gift the memory can be when it carries you through the tough days.

You are far too young to be reminiscing. There is a lot of life on ahead of you that you need to actively embrace. I've got friends in New England in their 80s who are out skiing or scuba diving whenever they can� Teaching young people in the process. And, speaking of loss� Their only son, a Coast Guard Academy graduate and pilot, died after two liver transplants long ago. Reminiscing is for those who can no longer be active in life.
