A good attitude always helps. But sometimes hard work and perseverance does not make one intelligent. And, obtaining a master's degree certainly has very little to do with intelligence. Some of the most intelligent people there are dropped out of college because they found it too regimented and boring. The Master's degree has become simply a matter of taking more courses (spending more money) in a particular field (a vocation for making money). In short, educational attainment and intelligence are not necessarily related.

Success is relative. I'm so glad you are successful. So many people feel they have failed because they were criticized. I learned from every criticism I ever got and moved on. Proved some of those folks wrong and found out that some were right.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than to own evetything that I've worked for. My hubby and I did just that, and we're proud of evetything we own so far!! Degrees and diplomas are only papers to show off to others, but fhe true experience in life and problems solving skills come from actual hands on experience in real life, and some of which are priceless!!

My daughter has a Master's Degree, and she is the most miserable woman that could possibly be. Sometimes we are much too smart for our own good. You have what you have, you are happy with it, and would like to do even better. Yours is the better of the two stories I alluded to.
