I have my own furangel on Rainbow Bridge. Blackie, my precious shih tzu. Next month it will be a year. I still cry, I still hurt,I still love and miss my baby. He got cancer and had to be put to sleep. The hardest and most heartbreaking decision of my life. Nothing's the same without him. Without God and His loving mercy I could not have made it. Kathy, to you and anyone else who have lost a pet there's a wonderful supportive chat room at Petloss.com. They gave me tremendous support and comfort. Everyone there has lost a furangel. On Monday nights we have a Candle Ceremony and light candles for our babies. I invite you and anyone else who would like to join us. God bless YOU, Kathy.

I thought for sure I commented on this before...I guess not. Well, I have my own angels with paws.. and now I have just one left. The other two crossed that "rainbow bridge" two years ago. It is heartbreaking but I wouldn't have traded my time with them for anything in the world. As you said, "rewards have no earthly measure." Your poem speaks well of your grief, and your love.

I have two "Angels with paes," my kitties Peppercorn and Chicklet. Have had cats for years. My wo are fourteen and eight. My two cats are treasures!

I immediately thought of the video that I saw yesterday. This guy was feeding a bear cookies through his open window in Russia. After the bear gobbled down several cookies, he stuck his paws through the window begging for more. The man shook paws with him! Gave him a high five, and the bear left. (Just between you and me, it was a tame, trained bear.) ;-)

Most folks who don't have cats tend to not like them too much. Other than little kittens, I used to be among that crowd. Then I adopted one and found out how loyal,sensitive and caring these creatures can be. They show compassion and love far beyond the boundaries of another person like me. I have had dogs that have done the same, but dogs trust many, cats trust few. When you get a cat to trust you it's relationship unlike any other, it's unique, Angelic and unconditional too. Amen...

That angel will love you forever Jerry. Unconditionally. That angel will inspire you to write words you never dreamed. Angels with paws remind us all of love unconditionally.
