I challenge all who reads this to be a part of this movement. We have the power within us to change someone’s life.

The Ripple Affect

If you saw someone without a smile

would you give them yours?

If you could brighten someone’s day

would you share a few kind words?

Could you look beyond your pain

to recognize another’s?

A simple act of kindness could change

the lives of others.

What a difference you could make

how peaceful you would sleep,

knowing you gave your all

to someone who was in need.

When you go the extra mile

so others get there too,

they soon will follow your direction

bringing out the best in you.

We have the power to change the world

if we choose to not neglect,

the concept is quite simple

it’s called the ripple affect.

What a beautiful write this is. It is full of cheer and makes one want to display glad tidings toward others. Your poem has brought on thoughts about my sister-in-law who passed away in 2006. She was such a happy person. When she walked into a room, everything stopped and all attention focused on her. Not only was there happiness in her voice, it was expressed all over her face. She was more like my sister than sister-in-law, and I cannot say enough good things about her. I so look forward to your next write.

I love the concept of contributing to the ripple effect you describe…
…and the beauty of it is…anyone can do it…!
Little kindnesses can make such a difference…and gives good vibes to
the giver AND the receiver…Win, Win…

A lovely poem Kathy, with an important and heartfelt message…

What a wonderful poem of hope for everyone. A positive outlook is catching. And you have shown us that the smallest gesture can have the greatest affect.

Thank you Kathy for this beautiful piece of sunshine rays. Yes even a smile may actually save a person from feelings of deep despair and could save their life. The eyes are windows to the soul and it's telling how bright that light is and that we are all created in love from our beautiful King.
