I do believe we can lose parts of us for different reasons. It's especially true when we lose a friend or loved one. They were indeed a part of us, and when we lose one we lose a part of ourselves.
You explore in an interesting way in this poem the conundrum of knowing who we are: It will take a lifetime to know, and even then maybe not. I think you got it right at the end "just let it ooze out of me pulsating, empowering, awakening the wholeness of my Being." What an accomplishment that would be for us all.
Oh how I wish I could meet you in person. You sound like a luminous beautiful woman who knows truly who she is. Your a pearl in the ocean dear poet, one that doesn't lack lustre when it comes to expressing her soul power. You are becoming one of my favorites, by the hour. Love and hugs xo
