Your poem expresses the duality of the natural world. It is both beautiful and dangerous! This poem made me think of the sea, which is lovely at times and frightening if there is a storm. Nicely done, poet friend!
Nature is what nature does. Not wanting to take it out on anyone or anything, but the cycles of nature seem to enhance life, and especially, it's reproduction.
Nature can't save us from ourselves but she cares.
She gives us sun and rain and mountains and streams.
Then we fuck them up. She challenges us. But she cares.

We experience the beauty of nature. Even the calm before a storm is enchantingly beautiful. The results from a bad storm are not. The rebuilding of a community years later is a miracle. Peace be with you...
