 on the external

the calmness
and stillness
of the ocean
all is silent, unmoving
as if the whole world
is on a standstill
patience, child
one has to
resurrect it within
it is your
priceless jewel
in the making
overcome the world
and none can
conquer you
all of Earth resides
within you
the dramas, plays,
and handed out scripts
all are-
your unconscious
and conscious dictates
from the director
to the actor
you are the role
of your own choosing
this whole world
are your thoughts
on the external
mystical, psychological
are the revelations
in the Holy Book
some of the characters
you have met
encountered them
as your moods, consciousness,
a certain point
in your life
Shakespeare's right-
the whole world
is a stage
so child, why not
personify, externalize
a character
of your highest ideals
persist in this
assumption of
who you are
be the actor
a paragon
thoroughly immersed
in this role
for, yes- this is your life
you are the star
simply traverse
and journey on
different states of mind
until you have reached
the acceptance
of that you are
and so-
you can finally say
with firmness
in thy voice
conviction in your mind
Iam that Iam
and gratitude prevails
in one's heart.

An interesting view of perspective. You certainly are who you are. And I am who I am.

Again, so much to contemplate here Audrine…
Certainly we have the opportunity to pick a character
of whom we can see as possessing our highest ideals…
and explore this role on our life stage….in
every aspect…
finally we can let our hearts swell with gratitude in the realisation
of who we have become, and who we are…

So much to sit with, so much to consider in one's life choices. Wonderful thoughts. Keeps writing.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
