Poem Artwork

 she weeded constantly

the moment her awareness
was resurrected
surprised with the thoughts
her imagination held
for those were the most
ungodly ideals
but along the raging
ravaging currents
of her thunderous river
is a hidden lake
that peacefully awaits
it might not be the sea
but it is enough
for the moment
a temporary recluse
before another storm
leads her home
back to the ocean
where eternity goes
riding its riptide
surfing every current
freely crashing against
sands of time
and definitive heavens
of a tamed disciplined mind
finally letting go
of life's little
doubts and worries
and the anger-
no longer consumed her
those minutes turning hours
going on and on, replaying
the same old scene,
same conversations
finally changing
the story befitting
of a lady, a woman
of elegance, poise
royalty, divinity that she is
this is-
the awakening of Gods
ditching the muddy waters
of the unruly river
finally recognizing
the astonishing stranger
in her mirror
accepting her true demeanor
and power
dominion over
her own inner world
as she heard the cries
of hallelujahs within herself
finally, finally now
this bud is
Spring in full bloom
wearing patience as its
most eloquent fragrance.

I read a lot of personal reference in this highly metaphorical to the new growth of a totally changed mind.
