They keep telling me
Accept people as they are
Accept the moment as it is
Live it in contentment
Be happy with what you have
love the life you have
but this I cannot accept
for such state leads to stagnancy,
growth becomes
the future’s ghost
without imagination
the state of love is dead
no progress, all stays as is
when we are given
God’s redemptive
and creative power
to continuously create
changes within
to actively and consciously use
our dear imagination
as one should lovingly see
another, a brother
basking in their state of bliss
happy and fulfilled
giving them a helping hand
out of despondency
by shifting within oneself
only seeing in them
their immense success
this- I shall do
up until the remainder of my days
until all my triggers
are brought to the light
of my awareness
and simply transmute each one
by making rearrangements
inside
as it is a great reminder
to align with the golden rule
what is done to thy brother
is done to thyself
so do it for
preservation of the good
changing for the better
and constant improvements
never accept anything
that isn’t up to par
with your ideals
change, shift, repeat
that is- the mystic’s hustle.

I love the golden rule. But physically it is so hard for me to give others what they give me for the little things they do for me like they did when I drove--strangers pumping my gas or changing my flat tire. So I have to be very creative on how I give back based on what I did as a young man, physically capable of lending a hand without asking for money whenever a situation came up. The Boy Scouts called it, good deeds. It is hard sometimes for my verbal advice to be accepted positively, but I don't worry about it. Just trying to be helpful in a suspicious world.
