Earth is home to both humans and life,
Yet so much pain and we wonder why,
Well, what if God gave us some angels,
Upon whose wings we could choose to fly?
Have you ever crossed paths with someone,
A good soul; an angel in disguise?
One who looks the average person,
One who has a light behind their eyes.
They’ve carried a burden it might seem,
A burden much heavier than mine,
And yet they have learned to love themselves,
Wear their scars and leave the past behind.
I know they exist, we live with them,
For they have steered my soul tenderly,
And redirected my heart to move,
Onto the proper path meant for me.
Earth angels can come in many forms,
But one trait will still remain the same,
For those of them who live amongst us,
Are those who love us and ease our pain.
Upon their wings I wish I could fly,
But sometimes they seem to come and go,
No matter how short my time with them,
I’ve learned something and that much I know.

There's a lot to learn from angels, mentors, and teachers. I've been helping a woman who has seen it all in her life and still feels the pangs of leaving home at an early age and developing rage she cannot control to this day.
