The memories of a nurse from any war from any time.
Puzzles I can not remember the hours, They come one after another. Young faces and mangled bodies torn beyond recognition. A puzzle of shredded flesh, with pieces missing, Why have they vanished, where have they gone. How can I put the likeness back together again? The water feels good against my aching flesh, I must be careful no pieces are washed away.

Poignant. After they are put back together as best the pieces can be placed, they have to put together their shattered lives. That's why I hate war.
