A BUD

A bud so sweet,

Enticing treat.

It throws off heat,

Dance to its beat.

Its scent draws me near,

Still not feeling fear.

It soon becomes clear,

I shouldn’t be here.

The buzzing becomes loud,

Near my face big and round.

I quickly hit the ground,

Hoping I won’t be found.

The birds are chirping,

And I’m not hurting.

The sun is shining,

My bud is smiling.

SEEMS THE BUD WAS HOLDING A SECRET...THAT YOU DISTURBED. THAT'S DANGEROUS STUFF...GLAD YOU CAME AWAY SAFE AND THE BUD IS STILL BEAUTIFUL AND INTACT(SMILE). ENJOYED, SUSANNE...THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

You have reminded me of that rose bush I once had with roses that smelled so sweet, with velvet deep dark red blossom petals that lasted a week and water.

But you're writing about the bud and not the blossom petals. So I will cut this to the bud. ;-)

I think your rosebud can be a symbol of much depending on one's interpretation. Nice flow as well. Love, peace, and best wishes,

Regis.

You need to be careful with those buds and their attractive beauty. The bees want to get their fair share as well.

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
