stranded in june

experimentation with pain

stranded

     okay so it wasn't
     your standard

make up
(and mornings always seem so dirty)
make out
(and he always says he'll call me)
make off
(and i always wonder what)

               kind of night

                              in june

Wake up and you will see my smile.
Wake out from a bad dream by my voice softly calling you...again.
Wake off without wondering how it was...
A poem of pain, like you, in the middle of the night kicked the doorjamb with a big toe...and still hurts.
Don't be stranded, just swim the short distance to my island.
