Tears rise up in my heart

Tears rise up in my heart
As if from a deep, hidden well
They rise and gather
To meet the dawn

I am falling
Like raindrops
Like tears from the sky
On a cloudy day

With sorrow and grief
In my broken heart
I have to face
Another day

I tell my self
That I have the strength
And more, that I have the desire
To go on and on and on

As if I were somekind
Of eternal star
As if I could always
Be in touch with my Buddha nature

But I'm only human
And these days
I cry a lot - for love
For death, for dreams

And the lovely days of youth
That past me by
And alas, are no more
Lost in the jungle of desires

I hover now - above the clouds
Waiting paitiently
To fall to earth
And to the tender grass of spring
