He still haunts all of us

We all survived
If that's what you call this existence
This painful existence
This painful existence we're all too strong to end
This painful existence made better by the ones we love
This painful existence made worse by memories of him
But still we exist
Not knowing why
Or how
We manage to stay alive
And with this painful existence
Haunting our halls
3rd stanza absolutely gripping and 4th just emphasizes the unfinished nature, unanswerable questions, binding in pain, open wound caused by the event. strong, strong write. makes me want to read much more of you. which i think i'll do. :) Dawn
