BEATLEMANIA
Yesterday
The Fool On The Hill said:
"Help! I need somebody, Michelle!"
She replied:
"Try Lovely Rita, Meter Maid
or Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds".
"Money Can't Buy Me Love;
You Say Goodbye, And I Say Hello",
he whispered as he turned to take
The Long And Winding Road
back down to
Penny Lane
"She's Leaving Home", I thought
"so we'll have another member of
Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts' Club Band
working A Hard Day's Night
For The Benefit Of Mr Kite
When I'm 64..."
So, did the Beatles
shape our culture -
or did they reflect it?
Me neither, Mick reminds me, as I dream of Yesterday (Yellow Submarines?) While My Guitar Gently Weeps for the loss of George and John, Imagine them gone.

Good Grief, Madam! This was not just a stroll down memory lane, it's a 50 yard dash! You're some kinda wizard, putting this together like you've done... my teenage bedroom had every inch covered with Beatle pics. My mom brought the entire bridge club in to see it (invasion of privacy or what? grin). Em... nice little Stones "zinger" you threw in at the end, eh? LOL. Carry on... Lucy's still up there with her diamonds, all's right with the world. Sigh... thanks for a giggles. katy xox.

The beatles had a very interesting affect and another example fo how rebeling can help to change the way for future generations. So why has our generation become so quiet? and allowing for all that we know is not working? When will we take action again?
This is spectacular, "Kate poetry"! I love the Beattle's, music
probably have all their work, including the white album!;-)
I think the Beattle's were paramount in changing the culture.
I leave it to the experts as to whether it was for good or ill!
I just love their music!;-)
I have loved the Beatles since my very first 45 rpm record, "She Loves You" and my dad said that music would never last (yeah, yeah, yeah), proved him wrong didn't they? This is a classic, Kate, thanks for reposting it as it has dredged up some wonderful Beatle memories, but watch out for Splat they may want to squash that beetle, Ed K and the BUG group may be able to help...Peace found, Ed & Rufuz
