you collared this poem all right, off the cuff and unbuttoned, but controlled nonetheless.

ooooooo, marvelous Kate, when your mind 'wanders' I get to come along and the adventures you have suit me just so! The weather, the wash, even the wandering mind have been done... BUT... you, my little carrot cake, have cooked up the one and only memorable piece on all three that defines it for me. (notice I said "cooked", not "baked" for as you know, I have the corner on the baking prowess... which should sufficiently frighten anyone who stays alive by eating). grin.
My favorite line? em... hmmm.. all of them? Yes, ALL! Once again, and it's a habit I quite admire, you have left me speechless, babbling but not satisfied entirely that I've conveyed how I love this and all your work. Sigh... (one would think I'd hold my tongue and wait for the perfect words... who me?) Carry on, sweet Kate... and on and on and on.... katy xox
Dearest Kate,
I finally had the sense to track you. I seem to miss your work when I am reading the boards and you are one of my favourite poets. You are so imaginative and creative you are a hard act to follow but you provide me with endless inspiration. An artist that can take an activity as mundane as washing a shirt and produce such a piece of art is to be commended. This left me feeling warm inside and so filled with admiration. Congratulations precious lady.

I wanted to purchase a sukiyaki sub. I parked my car in an area of

I guess it's time to wash again. We had me sweating.
a unique motif worn upon some keen imagery ...
(You wear me like the weather
and look good in my tan.
... And, if you're starting to sweat
then it's time to wash you again!)
This one is a saver.
But if I say.
I love the allegory, Shall I compare thee to a wet n dry shirt.
That like my white shirts, go into the washing machine, and come out red.
Love the images in this one.
You just keep getting better and better!
Hugs to you.
