Kate,

This is so soft and romantic! I especially like this line:
"as deep calls to deep" There is a whole relationship
in those five words!

I'd forgotten the famous phrase "deep calls to deep." Thank you for reminding me. I think I have a poem enttitled "Speak" as well. Getting the lover to speak up and say what he really means and really intends...ahhhh. Ugh! It seems the sincere ones drive us crazy and do a little dance to make a little love and the players speak loudly and mean absolutely nothing; so, by the time the real one comes with the "real thing" and speaks up we're afraid to believe anything he says. LOL. Loved the poem, Kate. ~~Nordette

so loving and spirtual, my favorite type of read, this has made me smile and sigh, sigh from deep in my core....Words like this are balm to the mundane stages of my afternoon.
